How Flex USSD handles account, workspace, session, provider, payment, and support information.

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Information we collect

We collect information needed to create accounts, manage workspaces, provide support, process billing, and operate USSD applications. This can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, company details, account roles, activity logs, and support messages.

When you build or run a USSD service, your workspace may process session data, menu selections, callback payloads, transaction records, provider responses, and custom variables configured by your team.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide the platform, authenticate users, operate applications, process payments, troubleshoot sessions, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and communicate important service updates.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand platform usage, improve product quality, and plan infrastructure capacity.

3. Customer data in your applications

You control the flows, fields, variables, integrations, and exports configured inside your workspace. You are responsible for telling your customers what information you collect and why.

Flex USSD processes this data so your USSD applications can run, but your team remains responsible for the content of each flow and the lawful use of customer data.

4. Sharing information

We share information only when needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, or work with trusted providers such as hosting, email, analytics, telecom, payment, and support tools.

Third-party providers only receive the information needed for their role. Their own privacy and security practices may also apply.

5. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account and workspace information. No system is perfectly secure, so teams should use strong passwords, limit user access, and review integrations before launch.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, improve reliability, and maintain security records.

6. Your choices

You can update account details, manage team access, configure notification preferences, and request support for privacy-related questions.

If you need to access, correct, export, or delete information, contact us with enough detail to identify the relevant workspace or account.

7. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as Flex USSD changes or as legal, provider, or operational requirements evolve. The updated date on this page shows when the latest version took effect.
